Community fundraiser on Saturday, May 12 beginning at 7:30?? to help support the Rousseau / McKenzie family. The Rousseau family has lived in Wayland for several generations. They are now facing a terrible situation as Nancy is in hospice with pancreatic cancer, with 11 and 13 year old children at home. With the loss of her income, the family fell behind in payments and the bank has threatened foreclosure. A small group of friends is working with the family to raise funds to help get them off to a fresh start in a new, smaller home in Wayland (so the children can stay in the schools where they have support and friends). Please join us at the Chat between any time after 7:30pm (?) on May 12th for some local fun and to help support a family in Wayland in need at the same time.
